A service checks the amplifier’s condition and operation. If it has a specific fault, describe the symptoms first so diagnosis and servicing can be planned appropriately.

Service or repair?
Start with the symptoms.
If your amplifier is buzzing, losing volume, cutting out or failing to power up, a diagnostic assessment establishes the cause. A new set of valves is not automatically the answer.
The amplifier diagnostic fee is £50 for up to 45 minutes. Repair labour is £75 per hour plus parts, with the diagnostic fee deducted if repair work proceeds.
